Many of our club members have Madstad windshields on their bikes. Mark has been a great help in cleaning up the airflow on 3 of my bikes so far. Have one on my Tiger 1050. Got the tall one but didnt realize its narrow, still works okay. Would have preferred something a bit wider though.
Helmet buffeting above 60mph though still much better than stock!
Always good to support a local guy employing local people!

Always good to support a local guy employing local people! I just picked up the KTM exc today with the new windshield. It is relatively small, as I wanted, but the airflow over and behind it is very smooth. Makes me want to go touring on the Katoom. Pictures to follow. |

BMW has changed up the windshield mounts for the 2013 f700GS and Mark need a test bike so he can modify his template. Harold, Nancy and myself have all used this system on the old f800/650GS and it is absolutely the best touring shield available for that bike.
If you have, or know somebody with a new 700GS, get them to call Mark directly at 352-206-2035.
He does not need to ride or keep the bike just figure out how to modify his mounts. I believe the owner gets to keep the finished prototype.

Mark installed the tall version on my F800ST. I am very pleased with the windshield.

Mark installed the tall version on my F800ST. I am very pleased with the windshield. Sam, Mark has put shields on three different bikes and shaped a few others for me. Very knowledgeable and honest man to deal with. He turned my f800GS into a comfortable Hwy cruiser. |
