We are all in Jefferson City , Mo. , about 60 miles east of Sedalia. We arrived yesterday after a great 3 day ride just loaded with high speed sweepers. ALL cities were avoided and we saw country side the entire route. We tried crossing the Mississippi by ferry but the river was too low for the ferry to get out of the dock. It has been dry in the mid west for a quite a while. Yesterday ( day three on the road ), we picked up a section of Route 66 in Cuba , Mo. We stopped at a roadside gift shop that had the worlds largest rocker. Roger will be posting pictures and doing a proper report when we get home. Hope to see most of you at the August pancake breakfast. Check out the picture of our waitress at Huddle House. On this ride: Harold, Randall, Robb, Roger Ride Safe, Harold Attachments:

It was 105f one day at the Rally. The midwest was dry, but the "cooler" mornings gave way to the opportunity for some good riding. The Mark Twain forest area dosent have a single straight stretch in it. The sweepers are mostly high speed and very sceniic. It took me nearly 4 hours to get from Sedalia through the forest at speed. The forest area is massive.
I arrived home Sunday at 4:30 with 3090 miles on the odo. Two days of seminars had me worn out but the riding was the highlight of the trip.
